We regularly identify attempts to commit fraud on clients’ accounts through client impersonation. In almost all cases, the fraudster hacked into a client’s personal email account and sent us fraudulent instructions by email. We have robust controls to identify and prevent such attempts but, due to the increase in the number of attempts, we may take extra steps to validate instructions you give us (e.g. call you). We hope that you understand. In the meantime, please take care not to share the security details for any of your email or other online accounts.
