Sustainability & Impact Summit: Where Capital Drives Change
Thursday 11th June, 1.00pm - 5.30pmWe are delighted to invite you to the Sustainability & Impact Summit: Where Capital Drives Change, taking place on Thursday 11 June.
This summit will bring together leaders from finance, business, and policy to explore how capital can accelerate a greener and fairer future. The programme will explore three key themes:
Driving the climate transition
Nature as our biggest asset
People and place-based investing
We are especially pleased to welcome Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever, as our keynote speaker. Paul led Unilever for ten years from 2009-2019 and pioneered the company’s sustainability strategy, the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan, which became one of the most cited corporate sustainability strategies of the last decade given its ambitious goals. These included to help more than a billion people improve their health and well-being by 2020, to halve the environmental footprint of their products across the value chain by 2030, and to enhance the livelihoods of millions of people by 2020 through its value chain (e.g. small-scale distributors and farmers).
The summit will be held in person at 1 London Wall Place, with a virtual attendance option available.
