Join us for our regular Charity Multi-Asset Fund Investor lunch.

The presentation will include a review of how the fund has been invested over recent months and our views on the market outlook. We will be joined by Harry de Ferry Foster who will provide an introduction and update on one of our UK commercial property fund holdings, the Charities Property Fund.

This session is designed as a useful update for current investors as well as to provide an insight into the fund for potential charity investors.

Kate Rogers

Kate Rogers

Head of Policy

Kate specialises in investment on behalf of charities, endowments and foundations and joined Schroders Charities in 2005 after four years with Kleinwort Benson Private Bank Charity team.

Kate is chair of the Charity Investors' Group, which is a membership organisation providing a forum for investment debate. In this role she has collaborated with CFG to launch a guide to written investment policies and 'For Good and Not For Keeps' published by the Association of Charitable Foundations in 2013. Kate also regularly writes on charity investment in the charity sector press.

Kate is also Portfolio Director at Cazenove Charities. She is a CFA charterholder and has a BSc (Hons) in natural sciences from the University of Durham, is Chair of her local community foundation, and governor of her local primary school.

Tom Montagu-Pollock

Portfolio Director and Charity Multi-Asset Fund Manager

Tom began his investment career in 2005 after graduating from Newcastle University with a BA (Hons) in Business Management.

He is now a Portfolio Director with responsibility for a number of segregated portfolios and clients invested in a common investment fund, the Charity Multi-Asset Fund. He co-manages this fund having been involved in its running since launch in 2007.

Tom is a full member (MCSI) of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He has also completed the London Business School Foundation and Endowment Asset Management Course.

Harry de Ferry Foster

Fund Director, Charities Property Fund

Harry de Ferry Foster is the Fund Director for The Charities Property Fund with responsibility for all aspects of the management of the Fund and for ensuring the Fund fulfils its objectives. He has held this post for the last 10 years.

Day to day, Harry’s role encompasses setting the strategic framework of the portfolio, equity raising, investor relations and marketing, sourcing property investments and investing new subscriptions and managing the Fund team. 

Harry is a Senior Director of Savills Investment Management which he joined over 14 years ago and has a seat on the UK Management Committee and the Investment and Risk Committee.

Harry started his career at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Healey & Baker) and occupied a variety of investment agency roles before assisting with the establishment of their Fund Management team in 1998.

Harry is RICS qualified and has 20 years experience in property investment and fund management. Harry completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) exams in 2003.
