Clare Anderson, Head of Schroders Family Office Service, commented:

“We are delighted to be sponsoring the London Business School Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital’s first Family Office Conference. Schroders Family Office Service works with established family offices as well as families considering setting up a family office. We build strong relationships with families and their existing advisers, drawing on both our expertise across investment, wealth planning, philanthropy and our deep knowledge of the challenges that families can face.”

Alexander Ross-Parkinson, Strategic Partnerships Director, Schroders, commented:

“We have been providing private equity strategies to family offices for many years. These alternative strategies, across private equity and venture capital, provide a diversified portfolio which generate consistent returns throughout the cycle. The LBS conference is all about future proofing family offices in these turbulent times and I very much look forward to learning more about organisational behaviour, philanthropy and impact investing, next generation of family enterprise leaders and key macroeconomic trends throughout the two-day conference next month.”

Florin Vasvari, Professor of Accounting, Academic Director, Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital, London Business School, commented:

“Family Offices have grown exponentially over the last decades and today they represent an important priority for many business families. We have leveraged our thought leadership, world-class faculty and extensive network to host a conference which is dedicated to a select group of single-family office principals and senior professionals as well as the families that they support.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics, such as governance, investment and dynamics which are all relevant to single-family offices and high net worth, multi-generational families. Attendees will have the chance to network with peers facing similar opportunities and challenges and participate in discussions to share their own experience.”

The first Family Office Conference at LBS, organised by the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital, will bring together principals and senior executives in a confidential setting.

Participants will be exposed to leading academic and practitioner insights and will engage in joint learning and network building. The event will cover a wide array of timely topics relevant to business families from addressing their positioning in today’s society, family dynamics and governance to investment related themes.
