Cazenove Capital boosts regional presence with five strategic new hires

Cazenove Capital, the UK Wealth Management business of Schroders, is today announcing the appointment of a further five talented hires as part of its regional expansion strategy.

Cazenove Capital, the UK Wealth Management business of Schroders, is today announcing the appointment of a further five talented hires as part of its regional expansion strategy. Portfolio Directors David Price, Nick Rowlands and Alexander Hobbs join the Midlands Team from UBS to form a new Birmingham office, headed up by David Price. In addition, Adam Bickell and Daniel Brint join the Manchester office to further strengthen Cazenove Capital’s growing North West Team.

This latest recruitment drive follows Cazenove Capital’s announcement that it had recruited five senior hires in October 2020, as part of its long-term regional growth strategy.

Midlands Office

David Price joins the firm from UBS where he headed the Midlands Region. Prior to that David worked for Credit Suisse in Birmingham. David has 27 years of financial services experience and 13 years of advising high net worth (HNW) families on their investment strategies and long term wealth planning. David is a Chartered Member of the CISI. David joins as a Portfolio Director and will be in charge of the new Birmingham office.

Nick Rowlands has worked in financial services since graduating from Rollins College, Florida, where he graduated with a BA in Economics. He brings extensive experience of working with HNW individuals, institutions, trusts and entrepreneurs from his time with AndCo Consulting and UBS. Nick is a Chartered Member of the CISI and holds the Green Finance Certificate with the Chartered Banker Institute. Nick joins as a Portfolio Manager focusing on the Midlands region.

Alexander Hobbs also joins from UBS in Birmingham. Alexander has 13 years’ experience in the wealth management industry having held a number of senior roles across the Midlands at UBS, Deutsche Bank and Brown Shipley. Alexander is an Associate of the CISI and holds the Investment Advice Diploma. Alexander joins as an Associate Portfolio Manager and will be covering the Midlands.

North West Team

Adam Bickell joins from Kellands Hale where he worked as an independent financial planner. Prior to that Adam worked for Coutts & Co and NatWest Private Banking. Adam has 18 years of Financial Services experience and 9 years experience of advising HNW families on their investment strategies and long term planning. Adam is a Chartered Member of the CISI and joins as a Wealth Planner for the North of England client base.

Daniel Brint joins from UBS in Manchester as an Assistant Portfolio Manager looking after clients based in the North West region. Daniel is an Associate of the Chartered Member of the CISI and holds the Investment Operations Certificate.
