As a specialist investment management firm, we have taken the strategic decision to look after fewer, larger clients, focusing on those with more complex financial requirements. We recognise that such a challenging and sophisticated client base requires a wide range of knowledge and skills. Pursuit of excellence over size
Our primary objective is to build long-term relationships with our clients, rather than simply pursuing short-term corporate objectives. This approach allows us to offer a tailored service and to structure portfolios according to clients’ individual requirements, rather than simply using generic models. Our focus on client service has been recognised by a recent survey we conducted with our clients, which showed that 94% believe their portfolio manager understands their financial objectives.

With high levels of employee ownership, we are able to attract and retain talented and motivated people who enjoy working in an environment where lines of communication are short and whose interests are aligned with those of our clients. Our survey suggested that 97% of our clients believe that Cazenove Capital is acting in their best interests.
Focus, performance and impartiality
We believe that no firm can expect to excel in every investment area. Thus we consciously focus our internal resources on three key areas of specialisation: pan-European equities, pan-European long-short hedge funds and credit. We take exposure to other areas by putting money with the world’s most talented managers. Independence of thought is central to our business and we will only use our own funds if performance justifies their inclusion. With a brand that has taken 180 years to build, we are confident that our firm will continue to prosper as long as we remain fully committed to putting the interests of our clients first.
