John Gordon

Head of Business Development
John joined in 1984 and is Head of Business Development, working closely with the Private Wealth Management teams to facilitate and coordinate their business development efforts. Prior to his current role, John began managing private client portfolios in 1989, initially managing private client portfolios and trusts, before joining the dedicated charity team. In addition, John is a non-executive Director of a substantial private property company and is a trustee and treasurer of a charity. He has 29 years’ investment experience and is a member of the Securities Institute (diploma).

Richard Jeffrey

Cazenove Capital
Chief Economist
Richard is Chief Economist and responsible for the strategic framework that supports the investment teams. He joined in 2008. Since completing a Masters degree in Quantitative Economics, Richard has worked as a professional macroeconomist and market strategist in the City of London. Richard has 35 years’ investment experience.

Marco Malagoni

Wealth Planner
Marco is a Wealth Planner and a member of the team within Private Wealth Management responsible for advising private clients on their pension planning and also on inheritance tax, CGT and income tax optimisation. Marco has over 10 years’ experience and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Clare Colacicchi

Senior Partner
Clare Colacicchi is Senior Partner and works in the firm's Private Wealth team. She advises individuals and trustees on estate planning, in particular as to the use of trusts with a view to alleviating capital taxation. She advises a number of charities, in particular service providing charities and those in the education sector. Clare advises individuals and trustees on estate planning, in particular as to the use of trusts with a view to alleviating capital taxation. Clare’s experience covers advice to individuals on their Wills and Inheritance Tax position. She advises trustees on their powers and duties, and on the variation of family settlements. Clare read Modern History at Somerville College, Oxford and then qualified as a solicitor. She spent 8 years with Macfarlanes before joining Hewitsons. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and former Chairman and a member of the Charity Law Association.

Tom Burne

Portfolio Manager
Tom joined in 2010 following a Commission in the British Army and is now a Portfolio Manager. He is responsible for the management and investment for high net worth individuals and complex family groups. He holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
