CHRIS RICE joined Cazenove Capital in 2002. He is Head of Pan-European Equities, responsible for all aspects of pan-European equity strategy and portfolio construction. Chris is manager of the OBSR AA-rated Cazenove European Fund, the S&P AAA-rated Cazenove European Equity (ex UK) Fund, and the Cazenove European Equity Absolute Return Fund. Chris joined from HSBC Asset Management where he was Head of European Equities, responsible for the retail and institutional Pan-European and European equity funds. Prior to HSBC, he was a Japanese and European fund manager at Scottish Amicable Investment Managers. Chris graduated from the University of Salford with First Class Honours in Finance and Accounting, as well as a MPhil in Monetary Economics from the University of Glasgow. Chris is IIMR qualified. He is a Director of Cazenove Capital and has 21 years' investment experience.

Peter Harvey joined Cazenove Capital in 2005. He is Head of Credit and manager of the Cazenove Strategic Bond Fund and the Cazenove Strategic Debt Fund. Peter joined from F&C Management Ltd where he had been Head of UK Credit. Over the five years to December 2004, Peter was ranked in the top decile of Standard & Poor’s UK Corporate Bond league table. During his eleven years at F&C, Peter also ran funds covering emerging market corporate bonds, high yield and distressed debt. Before joining F&C, Peter spent three years with Lloyds Bank Capital Markets Group. He graduated with a 2.1 degree from the University of St Andrews and speaks Spanish. Peter is a Director of Cazenove Capital and has 21 years of experience analysing and investing in corporate debt.

Alexander Smitten joined Cazenove in 2000. He is a member of the Credit Team with specific responsibility for analysis of sovereigns and financial institutions. He is manager of the Cazenove UK Corporate Bond Fund and the Income Trust for Charities, a UK authorised Common Investment Fund which are both predominantly investment grade bond funds. After graduating from the City University with a degree in Banking and International Finance, Alex worked for 9 years at TSB/Hill Samuel followed by NatWest and Daiwa in the capital markets divisions. He has 28 years of investment experience

Matthew Hudson joined Cazenove in 2001. He is a member of the Pan-European equity team with responsibility for equity income portfolios. He is manager of the Cazenove UK Equity Income Fund and The Equity Income Trust for Charities, a UK authorised Common Investment Fund and he is responsible for the following UK sectors: Banks, Construction & Materials, Gas Water & Multi Utilities, Mining and Electricity. Matthew joined from AIB Govett Investment Management where he was a UK equity fund manager. Prior to this he was a chartered accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the financial services division. Matthew graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in History. Matthew has 13 years of investment experience.

DAVID DOCHERTY joined Cazenove in 2000. He is a member of the Pan-European equity team and manager of the OBSR A-rated Cazenove UK Growth & Income Fund and Manager of The Growth Trust for Charities, a Charity Commissioned Authorised Common Investment Fund. Prior to this he was a fund manager at Gartmore Investment Management (1994-1997) and Lloyds Investment Management (1989-1994). David graduated from Durham University with a degree in History and gained an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He is a Director and has 23 years of investment experience

JULIE DEAN joined Cazenove in 2002. She is a member of the Pan-European equity team and manager of the OBSR A-rated Cazenove UK Opportunities Fund and the Cazenove UK Equity Fund. Julie joined from HSBC Asset Management (Europe) Ltd where she was responsible for similar funds as well as institutional portfolios. Prior to HSBC, she was a UK equity fund manager for Invesco GT. Julie graduated from St Anne’s College, Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in Modern History. She has 19 years of investment experience.

Paul Marriage joined Cazenove Capital in 2005.  He is a member of the pan-European equity team and Manager of the Cazenove UK Smaller Companies Fund and Cazenove Capital’s UK Dynamic long-short funds (UCITS and Cayman domiciled hedge fund); the Cazenove Absolute UK Dynamic Fund and the Cazenove UK Dynamic Absolute Return Fund.  Paul joined from Insight Investment where he was head of UK Small Cap investments valued at £750 million.  Prior to this, he was an analyst at GH Asset Management.  Paul graduated from University College, Oxford with a degree in Modern History.  He is a member of ASIP and has 14 years of investment experience.
